BioOrg’s micro-organisms are a mixture of 11 different positive bacteria that are champions at purifying various organic pollutants and removing the adhesive layers that hold this pollution. Eleven different species have been selected from different European forests and work together in a living ecosystem to remove visible and invisible pollution.
BioOrg is based on the scientifically sound theory of “old friends”. This theory was developed by Professor Graham A.W. Rook, BA, MB, BChir, MD Centre for Clinical Microbiology. UCL (University College London) in 2003. Our immune system needs an input to function in a balanced way. Without the required microbiotic intake in a rich and diverse bacterial environment, the regulation of our immune system is compromised. This increases the risk of chronic diseases, autoimmune diseases and allergies. Professor Rook calls his theory the ‘old friends’ hypothesis’. You can find a TED talk with Professor Rook here.
Yes and no, the bacteria in BioOrg products are present as spores. This means that they will only grow when they find food (energy) in their environment. This will happen at the time of fogging. As long as they are present in the BioOrg package, they will remain as spores, a kind of dormant state.
Circularity assumes that today’s products are the raw materials for later: after use, products can be reused. Circularity is therefore based on a world without waste. The opposite of the current approach where we constantly buy, use and throw away new products. This disposable and replacement culture has a huge impact on the planet. Circularity is not an end in itself, but a strategy to achieve 2 important international policy goals: to fight against the depletion of raw materials and to limit climate change. BioOrg bacteria leave no residual waste, they remain active as long as nutrients are present in the environment. The bacteria themselves are harmless to humans and animals and even enrich our biotope.
Our traditional cleaning not only requires a lot of energy from the people who have to do it, but also a lot of drinking water which will then pollute the surrounding water by washing away the original pollution and detergents. Our unique method therefore saves you energy, water and detergents. Unique: you also save time because you clean faster and less often.
Our indoor spaces are filled with harmful particles floating in the air we breathe. These particles have a negative impact on our breathing. Particles, for example, block the absorption of oxygen by our lungs. Other pollutants in our air irritate us with their smell or cause other more or less serious diseases. It is always advisable to refresh the room regularly. But in some cases, the air outside, although vital when it is healthy, is unfortunately sometimes polluted.
Bacteria need nutrition (energy) to survive. They get this energy from their environment. They are unable to produce their own food so they are like us, heterotrophic: in other words, they have to absorb other organisms or substances to feed themselves. BioOrg bacteria absorb what we call pollution as energy and reproduce. The bacteria leave no residue. We call this process the heterotrophic cleaning principle
BioOrg bacteria are all positive bacteria. This means that, in evolutionary terms, they belong to an older type of bacteria and are therefore less likely to mutate and less resistant to antibiotics. Positive bacteria are generally less dangerous to humans than negative ones. All BioOrg bacteria have been selected for their impact on humans and the environment. All BioOrg bacteria have been found safe for humans, animals and the environment by various governments and scientific bodies.
No, they are beneficial bacteria, completely harmless to humans, animals, plants and the environment. They have been part of the human microbiome for centuries, which means that these bacteria can be found on us and in us for a long time. They also help to strengthen our immune system.
As a producer, we are a member of Fost Plus and Val-I-pack. Our aerosols are household packaging waste and can therefore be put in the PMD bag. These aerosols do not contain propellants and are manufactured on the bag-on-valve principle: i.e. bag with BioOrg liquid at the nozzle and pressurised air between the bag and the aerosol can. Our industrial packaging is a 10 litre bag-in-box and is made of recycled material. We ask the consumer to separate the cardboard from the plastic after use, so that our packaging can be returned for recycling
No. BioOrg cleaning products are pH neutral and leave no residue. They can be easily flushed down the drain and will even continue to have a cleansing effect there. You can use BioOrg products without having to wear personal protective equipment such as gloves, goggles or a mouth mask. This is also reflected in the safety data sheets
The difference between a dry fog and a wet fog depends on the size of the droplets that are released during spraying. The droplets are large enough to be safe for humans and animals.
Absolutely. The droplet size is small enough not to stain or form wet spots. Spray a few millilitres on the screen and then dry with a microfibre cloth. Be careful not to spray too close to the object and not to spray too much product.
All volatile organic compounds such as sweat, urine, fire, cigarettes or waste. Due to the atomisation process, the pollutants are removed from the air and carried to the ground. Bacteria then immediately start to absorb the compounds. In addition, they feed on the sources of the volatile organic compounds and prevent the formation of new VOCs.
The BioOrg ecosystem is bio-dynamic. New pollution from people and materials is constantly being added and it literally falls on the good bacteria. It is therefore important to regularly apply new good bacteria.
Everywhere! The BioOrg cleaning method is aimed at the visual cleaning of organic pollution. Removing graffiti or permanent markers? That requires other products.
Due to HACCP regulations, we do not recommend the use of these bacteria in a public production kitchen. In refrigerators, where only packaged food is available, or in canteens and refectories, the use of BioOrg cleaning products is not a problem.
Dry and out of the sun, ideally at temperatures between 5°C and 40°C
No, disinfectants and biocides kill the good bacteria and prevent the BioOrg ecosystem from functioning.
Nee, micro-organismen kunnen alleen resistent worden tegen chemicaliën zoals desinfectiemiddelen of antibiotica, maar kunnen niet resistent worden tegen andere micro-organismen zoals de BioOrg bacteriën.
As a private individual you can buy Surface. Spray in BioPlanet shops and via Collect & Go BioPlanet.
